The Annual Seaside Beach Tournament

For over 25 years. Some 650 teams, spanning 90 courts come to Seaside to participate in the Annual Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament. During the three days of competition enjoy the wonderful beach, enthusiastic spectators and perfect setting for a spectacular event. Prize money is set at $15,000 for the tournament.

With a diversity of divisions, ranging from Men’s and Women’s Open, Co-Ed, Advanced, Advanced A Divisions, Quads and Six’s, as well as a ”Parent – Child“ division, the Seaside Beach Volleyball event has something for everyone. Players and spectators alike!

Including the participants and fans, the annual Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament is viewed by over 6,000 people each day. The event is an annual pilgrimage for most of the players where team ages range from 14 and under, to 45 and over. The event has grown to be one of Seaside’s biggest attractions during the year. Players travel from Hawaii, British Columbia, California, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and many other States to play in the tournament.

The event features a ”Theatre in the Round“ center court by developing a ”Sand Berm“ arena. Spectators can also get a great view from the  turn a round which sits just above the entire 90 courts.  Seating is free and on a first come first serve basis and the crowds are treated to some of the best volleyball anywhere. This is a must for families traveling to Seaside in August. Even for non volleyball viewers it's a real treat. We are really amazed at the diversity in players ages, and development.

This event features an on-site DJ, from local radio and PA announcements to entertain the crowd throughout the entire weekend, along with some really cool music, giveaways, and crowd participation, Center court promotions, and product give a ways will occur throughout the weekend.
